Another Monochrome Oddity for Monday - The Hunchback!
Trying to take a close-up photo of a spider spinning it's intricate web - failed; I caught sight of my own bent odd looking shadow, tweaked here to B&W for Alieni's Monochrome theme.....
Am I in the running for the title the 'Hunchback of Dreamingspires'?

Monochrome & Odd Shot Monday - Me & My Shadow!
From my recent stay @ Molly, Taffy & Monty's - this is probably the one & only image, you will ever see in Blogland of my friend H, their 'hooman', and I'm 'whispering' here, she's the one on the left...
Ouch!
And, she's just delivered me a sharp 'virtual' kick on the shins for naming her & posting it!
Sorry, but I just couldn't resist!
Alieni is the creator & host of Monochrome Weekly.
Odd Shots home is @ Katney's Kaboodle.

Molly & Me!
My Airedale 'niece' Molly quite often misses out on the photo & post stakes when I visit, as Taffy is such a showman!
For friends wondering why so few doggy photos this time whilst @ WelshAire Country & why none of my new Airedale 'nephew' Monty, a two & half year old 'Rescue Pup', who is still settling into his 'Forever Home'.
He is adorable, but timid, making him very weary of strangers - he has been as close to me as to sniff my toes & survive!
And, shy Monty's also frightened of sudden movements, strange sounds & unfamiliar objects like my silver camera, so to avoid distressing him I've not been snap happy.
Hopefully, another time he'll be more comfortable with it & me and I'll be able to capture his handsome features!
Today with the sun low in the afternoon sky, my attempt to photograph her produced this rather nice, if Odd shadow Shot of the two of us...

Monday's Monochrome AND Colour Carnival - Sunshine Bikes!
Dreamingspires in & out of term time has bicycles a plenty! Martha is the creator & host of Color Carnival, that simply requires a colourful photo.
This shot I took with Alieni's Monochrome Weekly meme in mind as B&W seems to do shadows justice...
Further along the same lane, another bike grabbed my attention.
In the shade it may have been, but it's colourful basket decoration made up for that...

Monday's Monochrome - Bridge Shadows!
With many tributaries feeding into the River Isis, it's towpath has lots of small bridges.
I often stand & ponder on this particular one and watch the comings & goings @ the colleges boathouses seen on the opposite bank....JPG)
Monochrome Weekly is hosted by it's creater Ailieni, who allows my digitally tweaked B&W images.

A Monochrome & Odd Shot for Monday - The Fire Escape
As soon as I saw the shadows on Univercity College's ultra modern, design winning Boathouse on Saturday, I knew it was a image made for B&W, so tweaked it for Alieni's Monochrome Maniacs meme...
And, thought it was quirky enough too for Katney's Odd Shots!

Another Monochrome for Monday - 39 Steps!
Yesterday afternoon, I went & re-took a local view, I particularly like, specifically for Monochrome Maniacs.
With, it's shadows in rare bright sunshine this Summer, the steep steps, seemed to lend themselves perfectly to an Alieni style B&W photo, even if it is of digital origin...
Yes, it's the bridge as seen in last Fridays Sky Watch reflective shot of the lake.
This angle looks down from the railway's 'fly-over', towards to Hinksey Park.
I posted a colour version last December, that captured my Christmas, with it's solitary December 25th walker - that image is HERE!
